We work with off-takers across Europe and develop fractions adapted to the sustainable production of district heating, electricity, or energy to the industry. Our solutions contribute to less waste going to landfill.
Energy production has never been more important in Europe, and waste-to-energy recovery is essential. By collaborating with the largest and most modern WtE plants (R1), we ensure that residual waste that cannot be recycled is used for sustainable energy production in the form of district heating, electricity or steam.
By focusing on the entire value chain – from sorting, processing, logistics and TFS to shipping, storage and recycling – we ensure that our partners get the right quality delivered at the right time. We continuously work to develop new factions and find competitive and innovative solutions.
Geminor also produces Solid Recovered Fuel (SRF) designed for the cement industry. SRF as secondary fuel helps to reduce CO2 emissions in Europe.
By sorting out more plastic from the residual waste, we are also developing our own RDF with a low fossil carbon content, so-called BioRDF. Less plastic content also means lower taxes when the RDF is incinerated.
