Pyrolysis is becoming the EfW industry’s best friend
A planned increase in pyrolysis projects across the UK and EU not only opens for more sustainable recycling of waste plastics – it will also lead to less EfW emissions through the production of low carbon RDF. The synergy between these technological developments may be obvious, but the market currently lacks sufficient plastic treatment standards, explains CM at Geminor UK, James Maiden.
