Geminor won prize at the “EY Entrepreneur of The Year Awards”
Geminor won the title for best service at the "EY Entrepreneur of The Year Award 2019" in Oslo in December.
Every year, the EY awards (formerly Ernst & Young) brings attention to the companies with most growth in an international program in over 50 countries. The Norwegian final was held in Oslo on the evening of December 2nd., where 11 national finalists competed in different categories.
Geminor’s CEO Kjetil Vikingstad and Chief Operating Officer Ralf Schöpwinkel won the title for best service in the Award ceremony. Geminor initially competed against several thousand companies in various industries, and 388 companies just in the region of Rogaland.
– We are very grateful for this attention, which is not very a common for us or others in the recycling industry. This award helps to put material recycling and energy recovery at the center of attention, and we will use it as inspiration when we develop our company further both in Norway and internationally, says CEO Kjetil Vikingstad.
