Geminor to host open day at Swedish logistics facility

27. oktober, 2017

Next month (8 November), Geminor will host a customer open day at its waste treatment facility in Landskrona, Sweden. The site, which was acquired by Geminor in March 2016, recently rebranded from Kemå AB to Geminor Waste Treatment AB – bringing it closer in line with the business’ wider operations.

Visitors to the open day will be taken on a tour of the 35,000m2 facility, which is fully-licenced for the reception, sorting, treatment and storage of refused derived fuel (RDF). Anders Karlsson Stål, Location Manager, will also be on hand to discuss the company’s continued growth across Scandinavia.

Stål commented: “Since acquiring the site last year, we have invested heavily in comprehensive transport infrastructure. A particular focus has been made on rail links between the facility and key transport hubs, such as Landskrona harbour, which is just 200 metres away.

“We’re looking forward to showcasing the scale of this investment at our customer open day next month.”
